The notice further stated that:
- The Capital Group Companies, Inc. (CGC) is a holding company for several subsidiary companies engaged in investment management activities. CGC is the parent of Capital Research and Management Company (CRMC). CRMC is a U.S.-based investment adviser that manages The American Funds Group of mutual funds.
- Neither CGC nor any of the subsidiaries own shares of Uponor Oyj for their own account. Rather, the shares reported in this notice are owned by accounts under the discretionary investment management of one or more of the investment management companies described above.
- Voting rights and share capital appertaining to shares owned by other than The Capital Group Companies, Inc. are included in the above given figures as follows: N/A.
