Seinäjoen Prismakeskuksen uudistus- ja laajennustyö on Etelä-Pohjanmaan Osuuskauppa Eepeen historian suurin investointihanke, joka päivittää kauppakeskuksen vastaamaan niin tämän päivän kuin tulevaisuudenkin vaatimuksiin. Merkittävä osa uudistusta on kiinteistön energiatehokkuuden parantaminen. Lämmönjaon osalta tämän varmistavat koko kiinteistöön asennettavat vesikiertoiset lattialämmitys- ja viilennysjärjestelmät. Myymälätiloihin kustannustehokkaan ja joustavan ratkaisun tarjosi Uponor Quattro -lattialämmitys- ja viilennysjärjestelmä, jonka ansiosta jakotukkien määrä jää murto-osaan perinteiseen järjestelmään verrattuna.

Ease of installation is key
Weholite pipes are light and easy to install. They really come into their own in a project in the harbour of Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand – the extension of an old stormwater line using massivepipes with an internal diameter of 3–3.5 metres. In this busy harbour area, it is not possible to carry outlarge-scale excavation work. The soil of the region and strong tides pose their own challenges.

Espoon kaupunki on ottanut ensimmäisenä Suomessa käyttöön Vortex hulevesien erottelukaivon. Sen avulla voidaan erottaa tehokkaasti kelluvat ja laskeutuvat kiintoainekset hulevedestä. Tavoitteena on sitä kautta vähentää hulevesitunneleista rakennetun viivytysjärjestelmän huoltokustannuksia ja estää kiintoainesten joutumista vesistöihin.

Weholite taipui innovatiiviseksi biokaasureaktoriksi
Maatiloilla olisi paljon potentiaalia biokaasun tuotantoon, mutta etenkin pienemmillä tiloilla biokaasulaitosten rakentamista on jarruttanut huono kannattavuus. Jyväskyläläisen BGC Nordicin kehittämä uudenlainen biokaasureaktori tuo kustannustehokkaan, toimintavarman ratkaisun myös keskikokoisille 1–2 lypsyrobotin tiloille. Teollisuuteenkin skaalautuvassa, innovatiivisessa ratkaisussa hyödynnetään Weholite-putken kerrosrakennetta, joka varmistaa reaktorille tasaisen, tehokkaan lämmönsiirron ja vakaan toiminnan.
