Le nouveau siège social du Groupe Der Spiegel est situé à Hambourg en Allemagne au Ericusspitze. La Dalle Active UPONOR installée garantit des niveaux de température confortables à tous les niveaux du bâtiment et ce, à toute heure.

 

Le chauffage et le rafraichissement du nouveau bâtiment du Spiegel ont été réalisés grâce à la Dalle Active UPONOR. Environ 8 150 m² de plafond ont été équipés de modules de Dalle Active préfabriqués. Les modules sont équipés de tubes en PE-Xa avec un diamètre de 20 mm.

 

Grâce à cette conception, la Dalle Active couvre jusqu' à 30%  des besoins. Les autres besoins en chauffage et en rafraichissement sont couverts par des plafonds suspendus qui sont eux aussi actifs (thermiquement). Dans les zones nécessitant un rafraichissement supplémentaire, les besoins sont couverts par une climatisation standard. Pour le chauffage, l'énergie fournie suffit pour les besoins de base avec une température de départ de 35°C et un retour de 30°C. Pour répondre aux pics de demande, le chauffage urbain vient en relai.   

 

"En complément à une solution géothermale, quand on a réfléchi à la régulation de la température de plancher et de plafond, le chauffage urbain a aussi été pris en compte dans la démarche", explique Ralph Valtinke, concepteur spécialiste chez DS-Plan Ingenieurgesellschaft für ganzheitliche Bauberatung und Generalfachplanung mbH.

 

Quand il s'agit  de rafraichissement, une forte puissance thermique est nécessaire pour fournir les panneaux rafraichissants. Pour réaliser cela, les circuits de rafraichissement de la Dalle Active utilisés sont installés séparément. Une protection extérieure contre le soleil ainsi que le rafraichissement de la façade sont mis en oeuvre de façon à ce que le bâtiment soit protégé contre d'importantes hausses de température éventuelles.

 

Une double régulation de la température de surface au rez-de-chaussée est intégrée à la conception énergétique. La solution UPONOR éprouvée assure un chauffage et un rafraichissement uniforme. En chauffage, la température de départ est de 40°C quand la température de retour est  30°C. En rafraichissement, la température de départ est de 18°C pour une température de retour de 21°C. Avec cette conception énergétique générale, tout a été mis en oeuvre pour obtenir le statut de "Gold" pour le bâtiment du Ericusspitze. La demande annuelle en énergie primaire du bâtiment est inférieure à 100 kWh/m².

 

La solution Quick & Easy a été utilisée pour les 3 000 mètres linéaires de tubes. Cette solution permet de diminuer les temps de sertissage ou de soudure. Une fois qu'on a positionné un joint Quick & easy au bout du tube, on expand le PE-Xa avec une machine à expandre et on insère le raccord. Grâce à la mémoire de forme du matériau, le tube retrouve sa forme et sert fermement le raccord.
