Вклад Uponor

-
Following negotiations with Vesitek Oy, geothermal energy was chosen, along with heat distribution via a water circuit. A Nibe geothermal energy system was purchased to replace the electric heaters and water-based Uponor underfloor heating was installed on the ground floor of the house, along with a radiator network for the cellar and loft based on Uponor composite pipes. Autumn 2014 saw the construction of an outbuilding, which had featured in the original plans to replace the original sauna building, and the structure was also connected to the geothermal system. The pipe systems of the buildings were connected to each other using sunken Quattro and Aqua pipes with Uponor insulation.

Vesitek installed the new heating system in phases in late autumn 2012 and early winter 2013 in accordance with the timetables of the other renovations taking place in the house. A 190-metre-deep geothermal energy well was drilled in January 2013 and geothermal energy was taken into use in early spring 2013. Underfloor heating and tap water pipes were installed in the outbuilding in autumn 2014.

The biological treatment plant is worth its price

The Murto family, from Savonlinna, Finland, live in a sturdy log cabin built in 1845. The waste water system of the house had last been overhauled in the 1970s and the old concrete wells and absorption field had reached the end of their lifecycle. The choice was between renovating the old wells and getting an Uponor biological treatment plant, and the decision was not difficult to make.

Renovation of the district heating piping system of six housing companies

Six housing companies located in the Hurttivuori district in Turku have a joint heating plant – Nokikana Oy. The terraced houses, which were built between 1975 and 1977, contain a total of 104 flats. Heating and water are supplied to all flats by a joint heating plant. Renovating the piping system became a necessity due to leaks. The plant's insulated elements were renovated in such a way that all residents were able to live in their homes for the entire duration of the renovation.
