Uponor was proud for the chance to contribute to such a worthy initiative – a facility dedicated to the care of sick children. Uponor specialists made a point of actively participating early on in the need-assessment and design phases of the project. Their contributions included a range of much-valued municipal engineering and building technology solutions.
Weholite pipes are light and easy to install. They really come into their own in a project in the harbour of Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand – the extension of an old stormwater line using massivepipes with an internal diameter of 3–3.5 metres. In this busy harbour area, it is not possible to carry outlarge-scale excavation work. The soil of the region and strong tides pose their own challenges.
As tall as an apartment building. A diameter of 22 metres. A volume of 3,500 cubic metres. FishGLOBE V5, a fish farming facility built and delivered to FishGLOBE AS in Stavanger in southwestern Norway, is the world’s largest PE plastic structure designed for marine conditions.
Uponor systems were selected to provide water supply, heating, and cooling for the office, making it possible to eliminate radiator heating in the building.
The facility is located in district XX. of Budapest, at Zodony street 1., in the area near the Gubacsi bridge and the Helsinki road, in the vicinity of the Gubacsi residential block and the Mediterrán subdivision.
The real sight of Egerszalók is the thermal well springing in the Southern part of the village, and the travertine hill created by the running water, which became known as the "salt-hill" over the years.
New company HQ of the Spiegel Group is located at the Ericusspitze. The concrete core activation from Uponor ensures pleasant temperature levels in the building.
The Uponor Meltaway system ensures that the helipad on the roof of the new hospital in Crailsheim remains free of snow and ice in winter.
The building located at Calle Tutor 16 (Madrid), owned by Arquia Inmuebles, has undergone a complete renovation and modernization, being partially demolished with the façade stabilized. A project designed by Tuñón y Albornoz Arquitectos and executed by SANJOSE Constructora, where the integration of Uponor's Invisible Air Conditioning in the Matrics raised technical floor developed by company Subway Systems.
