Comprehensive digestion solution with large capacity

Retention is a key component of stormwater management. The purpose of a retention basin is to delay and control runoff, so that stormwater is gradually released into the sewer system or natural waterways.

For the project at Rikshospitalet, we supplied two basins consisting of several long sections—one 149 m³ basin with two sections of 24 m each, and one 236 m³ basin with two sections of 25 m each. Both basins have an internal diameter of 2000 mm.

This solution is designed to contribute to effective stormwater management in the area.

Plastic retention tanks offer a number of advantages

With Weholite, we manufacture retention tanks that offer a number of advantages—including during installation—which is why our solution was chosen for the project at Rikshospitalet:

Their low weight makes the basins easy to handle
We supply long lengths without joints—which reduces installation time

Another advantage of the PE material is that it is resistant to external influences. Our solution has a design life of at least 100 years.
