Kink Repairs are Simple with Uponor PEX-a Pipe

Repairing a kink in Uponor PEX-a pipe is simple. All you need is a heat gun to gently warm the affected area.

As the pipe heats, it will become clear and return to its original size, shape, and dimensional tolerances. This process typically takes a few minutes. Once the pipe has cooled and fully regained its shape, it is ready for installation.

Note that you can only repair kinks in PEX-a pipe. This is not an option with PEX-b pipe.
