Pre-insulated Uponor AquaPEX® complies with the most recent versions of ASHRAE 90.1 and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). The product is available with ½" to 1¼" PEX-a service pipe covered in ½" or 1" insulation. The insulation features manufactured-sealed seams running the entire length of the pipe for added convenience and system performance. Pre-sleeved Uponor AquaPEX® tubing is used in hot and cold water-distribution systems. The highdensity polyethylene (HDPE) corrugated sleeve provides protection for installations in concrete slabs or soil, and allows for removal and replacement of the tubing if required. Note: This tubing can also be used in radiant heating and cooling systems containing no ferrous corrodible components or where ferrous components are isolated from the tubing.

Uponor ServicePEX Blue is an Engel-method, PEX-a pipe designed for use in residential water service applications. The product is blue with a dark blue print string that displays branding and regulatory information. Uponor ServicePEX Blue is certified to the AWWA C904 Standard for water service, is tested for up to 12 months of UV resistance, holds a 200 psi and 73.4°F (23°C) rating, has the highest chlorine resistance rating of ‘5’ per ASTM F2023, is approved for use with AWWA C800 fittings and valves, and is covered by a 25-year transferable limited warranty on pipe and ProPEX® expansion fittings.
