Stainless-steel insert for compression connection from lead-free brass compression stop valves (angled or straight) to 1/2" Uponor AquaPEX® pipe. Included with Uponor Lead-free (LF) brass compression angle stop valves and Lead-free (LF) brass compression straight stop valves.
ProPEX brass ball valves are a cost-effective alternative for radiant heating/cooling and hydronic piping applications. Both ends are manufactured with the ProPEX fitting for connections to Uponor PEX pipe. The full-port valves are compatible with propylene glycol mixtures up to 50%. Stem extensions can be installed to accommodate up to 2" of pipe insulation. Note: ProPEX brass ball valves are not approved for potable-water applications.
For point-of-use shutoff at the fixture, ProPEX® straight and angle stop valves are lead-free (LF) brass, chrome-plated, quarter-turn ball valves that feature an ASTM F1960 connection for 1/2" Uponor AquaPEX® pipe and a 3/8" male threaded connection for fixture risers.
For rigid fixture riser connections, use the Uponor ⅜" OD Compression Nut and Nylon Sleeve (part number F5440380), sold separately.

ProPEX brass to copper (quarter-turn) ball valves feature a shutoff valve for 1/2" and 3/4" Uponor AquaPEX tubing to 1/2" and 3/4" copper pipe. These valves are not compatible with applications using glycol.Note: ProPEX tool is required. ProPEX rings sold separately.
Stainless-steel manifolds all come standard with isolation valves for easy loop isolation. These components are fixed to the return side of the manifold and are used to shut off the flow of water or water/glycol mix through the manifold port.
