GF Building Flow Solutions, home of the Uponor brand, celebrated the official re-opening of its North American headquarters in Apple Valley, Minn. following its newly completed office renovation.

The inaugural GF Flow Symposium on May 3-6, 2026, welcomed 700 attendees at the historic Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn. Builders, developers, contractors, engineers, and executive leaders in North America gathered to explore the future of flow solutions across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial markets. 

Scheduled for May 3-6, 2026, at the historic Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn., the inaugural GF Flow Symposium will join builders, developers, contractors, engineers, and executive leaders to explore the future of system solutions across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial markets.

As part of the Uponor Prefabrication Services offering, GF has launched Uponor Prefabricated PEX Water Risers to maximize labor productivity and accuracy for domestic water and hydronic distribution piping systems in commercial construction projects. 

With up to half an installer’s time lost to material handling and ineffective activities, finding a solution to allow more hours dedicated to actual installation time is critical for commercial construction projects. To meet this need, GF is expanding the Uponor Kitting Services offering with two separate options to maximize installation efficiencies and resources while accommodating various budgets and applications. 

GF introduces GF Flow Symposium, a flagship customer event designed to address today’s biggest challenges across commercial, infrastructure and industrial markets. This event brings together visionaries, experts and customers to explore the future of system solutions that help them build faster, smarter and more sustainably.  

GF announced Javier Alarcón as the new Vice President of Finance for GF Building Flow Solutions Americas, effective Dec. 15, 2025. In this role, Javier will oversee all aspects of Finance and Accounting. He will report to GF Building Flow Solutions Americas President John Reutter, who previously served as the Vice President of Finance and held the role in an interim capacity. Javier will be a key member of the company’s Senior Management Committee.

Chrissie Walsh, regional head of Environmental Sustainability at GF Building Flow Solutions Americas, has been named to the Minnesota Chamber Environmental Sustainability Foundation (MCESF) Board of Directors. Walsh’s primary function will be providing governance to and community representation for the MCESF. Walsh was appointed on Sept. 9, 2025, and will serve a three-year term.
