Six housing companies located in the Hurttivuori district in Turku have a joint heating plant – Nokikana Oy. The terraced houses, which were built between 1975 and 1977, contain a total of 104 flats. Heating and water are supplied to all flats by a joint heating plant. Renovating the piping system became a necessity due to leaks. The plant's insulated elements were renovated in such a way that all residents were able to live in their homes for the entire duration of the renovation.

A new logistics centre is being build in Sipoo, Finland for S Group. One of the key factors for working centre is a big enough storm water system.

In spring 2012, the six-storey Technopolis Innova 2 building was constructed on the shore of Lake Jyväsjärvi. The building makes use of geothermal energy, which is collected using energy piles. The solution has surpassed all expectations.

Ervi and Liisa Helanto were among the first to own a Uponor biological treatment plant in Finland. The plant was installed in 1999. The user feedback that has been obtained since then has played an important role in the development of the device.
