Uponor raccoglie una sfida in un progetto per un’abitazione ecosostenibile a Isola Vicentina in provincia di Vicenza. Progettato con materiali naturali come legno e sughero, l’edificio è stato pensato per aderire ai più moderni concetti di bioarchitettura, con un occhio verso il risparmio energetico e con l’obbiettivo di ottenere il massimo comfort. Uponor ha studiato una soluzione speciale per il riscaldamento e il raffrescamento di questa realizzazione.
Il progetto per questa abitazione di Isola Vicentina ha presentato per Uponor delle sfide stimolanti e l’ingresso nel mondo della bioarchitettura. La realizzazione è stata resa ancora più interessante dal fatto che l’architetto Padoan ha progettato la casa secondo i principi del Feng Shui, una filosofia di origine asiatica, che si basa sulla combinazione degli elementi naturali e i flussi di energia. La casa è stata progettata interamente con materiali naturali, con la massima attenzione verso il risparmio energetico e il benessere delle persone che dovranno abitarla.
Uponor, che ha curato naturalmente la parte di riscaldamento e raffrescamento, ha messo a punto una soluzione ad hoc per questo progetto, installando pannelli in agglomerato purissimo di sughero biondo prebollito, privo di qualsiasi additivo e legante artificiale, normalizzato nella sua struttura fibro-cellulare (in fase di amalgama dei granuli di sughero) mediante un rivoluzionario trattamento "Air Fire": un prodotto biologicamente puro. Sui pannelli è stato posizionato un binario per posare il tubo Uponor multistrato.

A pilot project that still works like a dream
Ervi and Liisa Helanto were among the first to own a Uponor biological treatment plant in Finland. The plant was installed in 1999. The user feedback that has been obtained since then has played an important role in the development of the device.
The biological treatment plant is worth its price
The Murto family, from Savonlinna, Finland, live in a sturdy log cabin built in 1845. The waste water system of the house had last been overhauled in the 1970s and the old concrete wells and absorption field had reached the end of their lifecycle. The choice was between renovating the old wells and getting an Uponor biological treatment plant, and the decision was not difficult to make.
