北京园博会主展馆
北京园博会主展馆占地3.2公顷，建筑面积5万平方米。作为园博园核心区的主建筑，主要用于展示国内外造园艺术以及园林绿化新技术、新材料、新成果，展示奇石、插花、盆景等各类园林艺术作品。展会期间是组织高层论坛、学术研讨、技术与商贸交流、特色文化艺术展示、展演等系列活动的主场地，同时承担园博会的室内展览中心、会议中心、新闻中心、接待服务中心等功能。

芬兰馆—“冰壶”营造了一种“美好生活”的愿景，自由、创造、创新、社区精神、健康与自然。这些美好元素的完美融合，为人们提供了一个探讨美好生活发展蓝图的平台。另外，“冰壶”是按照永久性建筑的标准来设计的。世博会后，“冰壶”可被方便地拆卸，然后异地重建，后续利用。
“冰壶”的设计体现了许多新型的环保理念，墙壁和顶部的开口促进了自然通风，且能铺设太阳能电池板，为展馆制冷等设备提供电力，雨水也可进行回收再利用。新型轻质墙面、独特的窗户结构都减少了日照引发的热强度，房顶种上植物则用来均衡热负荷。“冰壶”展示了芬兰的生态创新，展示了新的基于可持续发展的高新科技，所有建筑材料均在环保和可回收的原则上经过精挑细选。
