- Pipes manufactured from cross-linked polyethylene - PE-Xa acc. BS EN ISO 15875
- Application class 1 & 2 - Hot water supply
- Fire class E according to BS EN 13501-1.
- Conduits manufactured from high density polyethylene

- Hot water services - where the water temperature does not continuously exceed 70ºC, maximum design pressure of 6 bar (conditions to class 2 - BS EN ISO 15875-1:2003). The maximum short-term malfunction temperature is 95ºC for an accumulative 100 hours over the working life of the system.

- Cold water services <20 ºC - where the maximum system pressure does not exceed the maximum operating pressure of 10 bar.

- Uponor Q&E Shrink-fit system can be used for DHW recirculating systems, provided the operating temperatures and pressures do not exceed the maximum conditions detailed under ‘Hot water services’
