Suurten lukujen hanke - maailman ensimmäinen uuden sukupolven biotuotetehdas

Suomen metsäteollisuuden suurimman investoinnin, Metsä Groupin uuden biotuotetehtaan työmaalla Äänekoskella päästiin toukokuun 2016 puolivälissä viettämään harjannostajaisia. Asennustyöt alueella jatkuvat vielä kiivaassa tahdissa ennen kuin tehtaan koekäytöt ensi keväänä alkavat. Parhaillaan alueella asennetaan muun muassa tehtaan massiivista, yli kilometrin pituista jäähdytysvesien Weholite-purkuputkea.
