VVS företaget Mälardalens Rör i Västerås flyttade från sina lokaler som de huserat i sedan slutet av 80-talet. I november 2021 togs det första provgrävtaget och vid årsskiftet 2022/2023 flyttade de in i det nya kontoret på en tomt som de ägt sedan länge. Underfloor heating and cooling for comfortable living in a summer cottage house
The new summer cottage house in Suolahti, Äänekoski, is using floor heating and cooling controlled by an Uponor Smatrix Pulse control system. The heat source will be a NIBE geothermal heat pump. Uponor and NIBE were responsible for the design and sizing of the heating and cooling system for the new house.

Due to the interest rates of the floor structures, underfloor heating at Uponor's new head office required a solution that would raise the floor surface as little as possible. A functional result was achieved with an unusual implementation, low-structure underfloor heating plates, which are mainly used in renovations of detached houses, and which increase the floor height by only 15 millimetres.

Line renovations in blocks of flats can be conducted significantly faster and more easily. The Uponor R2I cassette makes for a problem-free renovation. Thanks to advanced prefabrication, the project period is shorter and the risks are lower. The As Oy Varsta company in Turku is the first R2I pilot site. The site will be completed to an expedited schedule.
