27 Nov 2021Pleasant temperatures all year round
20 Jul 2021Nowadays, sustainability and comfort are top priorities in any new build or renovation project. Green construction means taking measures to reduce emissions and achieve a high degree of energy efficiency, both during construction and in terms of subsequent building use. And well-being is a key factor in any type of building, whether a home, a hotel or an office complex; after all, the right conditions have a beneficial effect on people’s health and productivity. Ambient temperature has a significant impact on well-being, which is why radiant heating and cooling systems are increasingly being installed in new and existing properties. They are exceptionally energy-efficient and ensure pleasantly comfortable temperatures all year round.
Everything for digital planning in one place
19 Jan 2021Comprehensive support for digital planning
Building Information Modeling (BIM) stands for the digitalisation of civil engineering and the transition of conventional methods for planning construction process into digital environment. This presents technical planners with the challenge of solving complex design and construction tasks in as much detail and as efficiently as possible. Uponor therefore has developed a new BIM platform that offers planners and designers optimum support when working with BIM. The platform comprises the entire product library in open standards as well as smart tools for more efficient planning in Revit and a reliable service by our BIM experts.
Reliable and safe for more than 30 years!
13 Nov 2020Revolution around the pipe
It was nothing less than a revolution in installation technology: In 1990 Uponor introduced its first overlapped welded multi-layer composite pipes (MLCP) to the market. They were suitable for a wide range of applications in drinking water and heating installations, they offered an enhanced stability, low weight and were also easy and time-saving to work with. Installers therefore killed several birds with one stone with these multi-layer composite pipes from Uponor.
To all heroes on the construction sites
21 May 2020Dear hero,
While many of us began to work from home 4 weeks ago, others continued to go to their work places in factories, in supermarkets and also on construction sites. Like the professionals in the plumbing and heating industry: installers, contractors, planners and engineers. And our distributors continued to supply them with materials needed to keep the projects running. You were especially affected by the special additional requirements, such as keeping the distance and safeguarding hygiene. This makes working hand in hand even more challenging.
