Key information: EcoMate devices collect several key data points from the technical room and use them to reduce heating wastage in your properties. These data points include temperature measurements on several pipes within the heating setup in the technical room as well as energy usage information gathered from the energy meter in the technical room.
Data is collected continuously on a 5-minute interval, but it may be buffered and sent later if there are any connection issues when the data transfer is scheduled.

DATA GENERATION FREQUENCY:
Periodic data collection (every 5 minutes)
DATA STORAGE:
- On-device storage
- Retention period: Few hours (depending on memory availability), used to buffer messages in the event of a short connectivity issue
- Cloud storage
- Retention period: For the length of the contract. Contracts start at 3 years minimum length but may be extended beyond that.
DATA ACCESS METHODS:
Users may access their data through the EcoMate portal. They can visualize all collected data from their buildings as well as calculated data such as emissions or energy savings.
Quality of service on access to this data is guaranteed by industry standard best practices regarding resilience, scalability, availability, privacy and security for cloud-based services.
DATA DELETION:
How to delete: User data and building information will be deleted when the service is concluded. Sensor readings may be kept in an anonymized format for analytic purposes.
Exceptions: All data can be deleted.
