Description

The heck valve allows flow only in one direction.
It opens when the pressure on the inlet side is greater than the pressure downstream of the valve.
If this is not the case, the spring mechanism closes the valve automatically, preventing backflow, e.g. to prevent different temperatures or water qualities to mix or to even move upstream.
The additional manual shut-off function allows for totally stopping the flow e.g. for maintenance, repair reasons or control reasons.
As such it combines to of the most important and frequent safety functions in any water installation.

GF JRG JUNIOR

The safety group JRG JUNIOR is a compact combination of a pressure reducing valve, a non-return valve and a safety valve.
The valve protects closed-type water heater from pressure-related overloads.

Product catalogue

Description

The pressure reducer in the safety group reduces the upstream pressure to a lower, constant pressure.
The filter installed upstream of the pressure reducer retains suspended solids larger than 1’000 μm.
When water is heated, the volume increases, resulting in a pressure increase in a closed vessel.
The non-return valve prevents the return of the water from the water heater into the distribution network.
The safety valve opens when the set pressure limit is reached and allows the amount of water that generates the overpressure to escape in a controlled way.

BIOCAT is a natural limescale protection device that preserves the quality of drinking water.
Highly effective limescale protection without the addition of salt or chemicals.

Product catalogue

Description

The BIOCAT biomineralization process converts dissolved calcium and carbonate ions into microscopic limescale crystals, which are simply flushed out with the water.
Catalyst granules inside the BIOCAT unit trigger the formation of these crystals, allowing excess calcium and carbonate ions to bind to them.
As a result, the limestone minerals stay suspended in the water rather than adhering to pipes or heating elements. This ensures effective limescale protection without altering the natural composition of the potable water.

Description

The JRGARANT is a pressure relief valve designed to protect closed water heating systems.
When water is heated, it expands, leading to an increase in pressure within the vessel.
The non-return valve integrated into the supply line prevents water from flowing back from the water heater into the distribution network.
Once the factory-set response pressure is reached, the safety valve opens and discharges the excess water that caused the overpressure into the drainage system.
