Fire water tanks ready for installation
Fire Water Tanks for Kollen Nature Kindergarten
In 2022, Uponor Infra supplied fire water tanks with a total capacity of 160 m³ to Kollen Nature Kindergarten in Råde. The solution included two 2200 mm Weholite reservoirs, installed side by side underground and connected together. Delivered as ready-to-install units, the tanks helped save valuable time on site. One of them was equipped with a built-in pump room.
Focus on Material and Design
The customer chose Uponor’s solution thanks to its durable material and robust design. Manufactured from double-walled PE, the fire water tanks are highly resistant to temperature fluctuations and external impacts. This makes them less susceptible to sharp stones and other elements in the soil. With their light-colored interior, the reservoirs also make inspection and maintenance easier and more efficient.
Extra Safety for Everyday Life
Once installed, the tanks remain completely invisible, leaving daily life at the kindergarten unaffected while offering additional peace of mind. They serve as a reliable reserve water supply for both the sprinkler system and firefighting, providing an extra layer of safety for children and staff alike.
