Sikker, hurtig og nem drikkevandsledning med Barrier PLUS

Holdbare, ikke-permeable Uponor Barrier PLUS-rør bruges til at beskytte en vandledning mod forurenende stoffer og sikrer hurtig, nem installation i et gammelt industriområde i Mikkeli, det østlige Finland, hvor mange nye boligblokke vil blive opført i de næste par år.

ø225 Barrier PLUS rør og PE-rør

I løbet af de næste par år har byggefirmaet YIT til hensigt at bygge 15 nye flerfamiliehuse i et tidligere industriområde omkring to kilometer fra centrum af Mikkeli. Området ligger på bredden af Saimaa-søen. YIT har ejet det siden 1991, da firmaet og byen Mikkeli indgik en aftale om zoneinddeling, opførelse og udvikling af området.

Det blev tidligere brugt af træindustrien - et dampdrevet savværk blev etableret i 1890. I 1938–1986 blev en krydsfiner-mølle og træhus-fabrik drevet ved siden af savværket. Imidlertid gik virksomheden konkurs og bygningerne blev revet ned i 1990'erne. 

Årtier af industriel aktivitet har sat deres præg på stedet. Af denne grund er der nu foretaget en oprensning af jorden. 

Jordundersøgelser viste stoffer såsom petroleumskulbrinter og tungmetaller. Under saneringsarbejdet blev flere tusind kubikmeter forurenet jord fjernet og erstattet med ren
ny jord,
”siger Petri Pynnönen, rådgiver hos Talpa Oy, som i øjeblikket arbejder på en kontrakt om installation af en ny vandledning, der vil servicere omkring 2.000 beboere.

Lidt mindre end 200 meter af den kilometerlange rør løber gennem det udbedrede område. Selvom jorden nu er ren, ville Mikkeli Vandforsyning være helt tryg ved, at vandledningen bliver sikker. Uponor Barrier PLUS rør med en diameter på 225 mm vil blive brugt til den del af vandledningen, der passerer gennem det tidligere forurenede område. Resten af vandledningen vil blive fremstillet af almindelige Uponor PE-rør.

Pynnönen siger, at de første lejlighedskomplekser blev opført på denne halvø i 1990'erne. ”Plastrørene, der var tilgængelige dengang, leverede ikke tilstrækkelig beskyttelse mod forurenende stoffer, så vandledningerne blev i stedet lavet af støbejernsrør.” 

 

Let at håndtere, hurtigt at installere

Talpa ville bruge plastrør til projektet, og efter at have hørt om det nye Uponor Barrier PLUS-rør, besluttede man at vælge dem.

Dette er vores første projekt, hvor vi bruger Barrier PLUS-rør,” siger Pynnönen. Rørene viste sig at være meget nemme at håndtere og installere. ”Rørene er lette og fleksible, hvilket gør dem lette og hurtig at installere. Deres fleksibilitet betyder også, at små retningsændringer kan foretages nemt og sikkert.

Han roser også hastigheden og letheden i forbindelse med at installere wraps rundt om rørsamlingerne. Der er lige under 20 samlinger på 200 meter rør.

”Arbejdet går meget glat - det tager kun ca. 10 minutter at pakke hver samling ind. Når wrap'en er installeret omkring rørets beskyttende kappe opvarmes en krympemuffe
over det for at forsegle samlingen. Wrap'en og krympningen er præ-dimensioneret til røret, så det er ikke nødvendigt at måle eller skære dem til."

Roihu 2016 – the 7th International Finnjamboree organised by Suomen Partiolaiset - Finlands Scouter ry, was held at the Evo campsite in Hämeenlinna on 20–28 July 2016. A camp for 17,100 people was built in a forest area owned by Metsähallitus. Some 3,000 participants arrived from abroad – from about 40 different countries. Uponor delivered 7,600 metres of pipes to the area. The pipes were used to supply clean water and to lead grey water away from the area in a controlled manner.

September 2018 saw the launch of the project for a stormwater drainage system in Rzeszów, almost 26 kilometres long, in the residential District of Budziwój, which partially coincides with the floodplain of the River Wisłok. One of the elements of this system is the retention canal. The project, scheduled for delivery by May 2020, will help to finally solve flooding problems which have been plaguing the residents of this region of Poland.
