Solotvyno Resort: Where Comfort and Technology Come Together
The complex is located in Solotvyno—a town known for its salt lakes, mineral water, and healing air. Here, an environment has been created where every detail contributes to wellness—from the surrounding nature to the building’s internal systems.
To ensure guests can enjoy warmth and comfort without interruption, even during the cold seasons, the complex’s heating and water supply systems have been upgraded. Previously, metal pipes were used to connect the boiler room to the main building complex, but the aggressive environment—specifically water saturated with salts—caused corrosion and leaks.
The solution was the modern Uponor Ecoflex VIP system—reliable, energy-efficient, and designed for challenging conditions.
The solution chosen:
- A 110 mm diameter heating main was installed—from the boiler room to the main building.
- A Ø90 mm main was installed for hot water supply.
- Ø63 mm pipes were installed for recirculation.
- Thanks to the system’s thinner construction, we were able to quickly route the pipes through the walls—without complex preparatory work.
- Thanks to vacuum-screen insulation with a thermal conductivity coefficient of just 0.004 W/m·K, heat loss in the low-temperature network mains was significantly reduced.
What we achieved as a result:
- Resistance to chemical impurities in water — the pipes are resistant to salts and do not rust.
- Less heat loss — lower costs — the characteristics of the Ecoflex VIP system are unmatched on the market.
- Easy installation — the design is compact and flexible, so the process of laying the system and routing the lines went quickly and smoothly.
- Scalability — the system is ready for future modernization phases.
The project was implemented in collaboration with Uponor’s regional partner — the “SantechnikA” store and warehouse. Thanks to coordinated efforts, we were able to quickly implement a solution that already provides vacationers with warmth, comfort, and reliability.
