De hotel histórico a apartamentos de lujo con Uponor Combi Port B 1000 , Burgos, Spain

Antiguo Hotel España (Burgos)

El edificio, que albergaba el antiguo Hotel España, está dentro del Plan Especial de Protección del Centro Histórico de la ciudad de Burgos. Su transformación ha respetado la fachada y cumple las normativas más exigentes, tanto en parámetros de calidad como de eficiencia energética. El nuevo inmueble acoge ahora 16 viviendas de lujo tras una fachada que ha rejuvenecido hasta recuperar la estética que tuvo en 1938.

El proyecto ha sido liderado por el estudio MBG Ingeniería Y Arquitectura y la instaladora de las soluciones de Uponor ha sido CIMESA: Climatización Invisible por suelo radiante y distribución de ACS a través de la estación Uponor Combi Port B 1000, regulación inalámbrica de temperatura a través de Smatrix Wave Pulse, Fontanería Sistema Q&E y autofijación Uponor Klett.

Un proyecto complicado y diferencial a nivel arquitectónico en el que las instalaciones han sido clave para obtener la calificación energética A. “Desde un principio el objetivo era obtener la calificación energética más alta, y se ha conseguido a partir de unas instalaciones de gran rendimiento que además favorecen ampliamente el confort de los propietarios”, afirma Eduardo Esteban Rodriguez, Director de Castellana de Instalaciones Mecanicas (CIMESA). Esta compañía inició su actividad en la década de los años 80 y ha dedicado más de cuarenta años al estudio, ejecución y mantenimiento de instalaciones industriales, domésticas, colectivas e individuales desde la innovación y la calidad. 

Buscamos las mejores opciones para realizar instalaciones eficientes, innovadoras y respetuosas con el medio ambiente. Para este proyecto diseñamos todas las instalaciones del edificio desde la sala de calderas  al sistema de aerotermia o la fontanería, y en base a lo que nos aportaba Uponor no dudamos en contar con ellos”, comenta Eduardo Esteban.

El confort entendido como un todo, en lo que se ve y también en lo que solo se siente 

Quizá una de las grandes diferenciaciones del proyecto son las 16 estaciones de Uponor Combi Port B 1000 ubicadas en cada una de las viviendas. Según Eduardo Esteban, “este sistema permite unificar e individualizar la calefacción y la refrigeración y la distribución de ACS, con todos los beneficios de un sistema colectivo. Cada uno de los propietarios tienen la posibilidad de utilizar la energía como necesite, con el añadido de contar con la mayor garantía y el mejor servicio técnico”. 

La estación de intercambio térmico suministra a una unidad residencial agua caliente y calefacción. El agua potable se calienta según se requiera mediante un intercambiador de placas de acero inoxidable, utilizando los principios de contraflujo. La energía se suministra calentando agua con una temperatura de flujo de al menos 55ºC a través de la línea de suministro de agua caliente. La temperatura del agua potable es controlada por una válvula de control proporcional. La válvula PM prioriza el uso de ACS, derivando el paso de la energía del primario al intercambiador para la producción de ACS. Al finalizar la demanda de ACS, se corta el flujo de energía al intercambiador, mejorando el rendimiento energético.

Ajuste individual de la temperatura de confort

Otra singularidad que se suma a la experiencia única de vivir en estas viviendas es la solución de regulación y control inalámbrica para la Climatización Invisible, “es un proyecto que pone al propietario en el centro de todas las decisiones, como demuestra la elección de este sistema que permite controlar y decidir qué temperatura quiere que haya en su vivienda desde cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento del año, independientemente de la temperatura exterior”, concluye Eduardo Esteban.

El sistema de control para suelo radiante de Uponor ofrece la posibilidad de crear zonas de confort ambiental según las preferencias individuales y controlar de manera remota la instalación (calefacción) mediante la aplicación Smatrix Wave Pulse.
