La Pinada Lab: Uponor, actor clave en uno de los principales centros de innovación abierta del urbanismo sostenible

La Pinada Lab es un centro de innovación abierta para la sostenibilidad del entorno urbano. En él se facilitan los procesos de innovación, compartiendo ideas, conocimiento y experiencias y dando vida a proyectos que generen oportunidades de negocio con impacto positivo.

Se trata de un espacio en el que empresas, startups, universidades, centros tecnológicos, sector público y ciudadanía encuentran un entorno que opera como plataforma de pruebas para crear nuevos productos y servicios altamente sostenibles, en ámbitos como la gestión del agua, los materiales o la energía, o que suponen una transformación real de la movilidad y la construcción.

“Somos un punto de encuentro para activar la innovación sistémica y abierta en el desarrollo de soluciones de eficiencia energética, hídrica, renaturalización de ciudades o soluciones de movilidad sostenible, entre otros aspectos” indica Juan Murillo, director de Innovación de Zubi Cities, compañía impulsora del proyecto.

La Pinada Lab, banco de pruebas para los proyectos de Zubi Cities


La Pinada Lab está formada por cuatro pabellones construidos con materiales naturales, tecnologías de vanguardia y sistemas de aerotermia y placas fotovoltaicas que les permiten estar desconectados de la red eléctrica. Dos de ellos disponen de sistema de Climatización Invisible por superficies radiantes de Uponor (uno con suelo radiante, para calefacción, y otro con techo radiante, para refrigeración). Además, Uponor se ha encargado de la conducción del agua, a través de su sistema Q&E.

Estas instalaciones han permitido observar la evolución de las soluciones de Uponor en diferentes contextos a lo largo de casi un año, monitorizando aspectos relacionados con el confort, como la humedad o la temperatura. Un conocimiento que se utilizará directamente en el futuro Barrio La Pinada, así como en otras promociones de Zubi Cities.

Cada uno de los desarrollos de Zubi Cities integra soluciones y herramientas innovadoras que mejoran la eficiencia en el uso de recursos y el bienestar de las personas. Este marco de trabajo innovador en busca de generar un impacto positivo se aplica en todas las fases de la vida de cada proyecto residencial, desde la conceptualización y el diseño, hasta la construcción o los nuevos modelos de gestión y de financiación.

Según Aurelio Silveira, CEO de Zubi Cities, “se trata de un nuevo modelo de desarrollo urbano, concebido junto con sus futuros residentes. La sociedad ha evolucionado y la ciudad debe adaptarse y dar respuesta a las nuevas necesidades de sus habitantes y hacerlo de forma sostenible y en equilibrio con el entorno natural, avanzando hacia modelos circulares en gestión y neutros en emisiones e impactos”.

An 8-storey apartment is rising in a former bank district in Lahti. The target will contain 265 apartments and is designed by A1 Arkkitehdit Oy and will be built by Nuorisosäätiö. Aleksi 5 is the first new destination in which R2I blocks are being delivered and in which sound-absorbing Decibel drains are used.
