Storm water system for Special Economic Zone Wroclaw - Kobierzyce. Drainage of an area of 260 ha

The piping by Weholite of an open discharge channel carrying treated waste water from the “Dębogórze” Sewage Treatment Plant in Gdynia to the village of Kazimierz.

The construction of an innovative retention sewage canal in Rzeszów in southern Poland was recently completed using Weholite piping and manholes.

Renovation of 1.5-kilometer section of reinforced concrete sewer was carried out in 2013 in Chełm.

September 2018 saw the launch of the project for a stormwater drainage system in Rzeszów, almost 26 kilometres long, in the residential District of Budziwój, which partially coincides with the floodplain of the River Wisłok. One of the elements of this system is the retention canal. The project, scheduled for delivery by May 2020, will help to finally solve flooding problems which have been plaguing the residents of this region of Poland.

 

In Slagelse Municipality, there are requirements for the drainage of rainwater and wastewater to be separated, and therefore it was important that the wastewater solution on the street, Nordre Ringgade, was also updated in accordance with current legislation. The client has received an approved solution where the wastewater from the commercial property in no. 59 has been separated from the rainwater. The rainwater is now diverted directly from the 2,500 m2 car park.

Nastola's plans initially featured a pipeline but this was replaced with a runoff tunnel. Thanks to the quick and easy installation, the time originally set aside for the project could be halved.

The new loading and parking area of Volvo’s central warehouse in Vantaa was asphalted, which called for a solution to effectively and reliably channel storm water from the area. Uponor’s new IQ infiltration pipes were selected as the solution to infiltrate and delay storm water on the plot.

One of the requirements of the new parking area for the bakery  in Vääksy was an efficient storm water management.

Uponor IQ stormwater solution was installed in the Rakokivi's new community centre in Nastola, Lahti, so quickly that it surprised everyone involved.
