Faroe Island tunnel with Uponor pipe system

In December 2020, the Faroe Islands opened the country’s longest undersea tunnel, which considerably reduces travel time between the most populated islands. The 11.2-kilometre tunnel represents a significant infrastructure investment, which also boasts the world’s first undersea roundabout. Beneath the road, a sophisticated system of pumps and kilometres of plastic pipework ensure that the road is kept free of water and safe for motorists.

As part of the construction of a new curtain factory in Roskilde, an underground stormwater retention tank is being built to retain stormwater and regulate discharge in line with the capacity of the local authority’s stormwater network. The solution is designed to reduce the risk of flooding around the new development during heavy rainfall.

Til prosjekt Bontveitvegen i Bergen leverte vi en kulvert produsert i Weholite 1400mm SN8. Kulverten ble levert i to rørlengder som til sammen har en lengde på 17 meter. Vi leverte også 1 stk. FlexSeal fra Trelleborg som ble brukt til sammenkobling.

When Ishøj Utility needed a new stormwater treatment solution, treatment efficiency was only one part of the equation. The solution also had to accommodate large runoff volumes, fit within the available footprint, and ensure efficient long-term operation and maintenance. The result was a customised Vault filter chamber, developed in close partnership between Ishøj Utility and GF.

Sedimenteringstank og slamtank til avløpsrenseanlegg

Vi leverte to stk. Weholite-tanker til rensing av avløpsvann på Mongstad i Alver kommune, Vestland. I disse tankene vil avløpsvannet fra området renses før utslipp. Faste partikler samles opp i et slamlager som tømmes etter behov.

Begge tankene har en diameter på 3000 mm. Den ene tanken er 20 meter lang, og den andre er 26 meter lang.
