Faroe Island tunnel with Uponor pipe system
In December 2020, the Faroe Islands opened the country’s longest undersea tunnel, which considerably reduces travel time between the most populated islands. The 11.2-kilometre tunnel represents a significant infrastructure investment, which also boasts the world’s first undersea roundabout. Beneath the road, a sophisticated system of pumps and kilometres of plastic pipework ensure that the road is kept free of water and safe for motorists.

Uponor filter chamber part of the stormwater study
In recent years, stormwater quality management has become an increasingly important part of urban stormwater strategies. A pilot project was launched in Heinola to clean stormwater with innovative filter chambers developed by Uponor. At the same time, valuable research data will be collected on stormwater quality from two different types of areas and on the treatment results achieved with filter chambers.

Brannvannstanker på 108 m³ til Kragerø Resort
Vi har levert to stk. 13,5 m lange brannvannstanker på 108 m³ med en innvendig diameter på 2400 mm til Kragerø Resort. En av tankene har et teknisk rom der det er to stk. trykkøkningspumper fra KSB. Tankene er produsert i Weholite (dobbeltvegget PE) og er kjøresterke. Det skal etableres oppstillingsplass for utrykningskjøretøy over dem.

Vi leverte et fordrøyningsanlegg for overvannshåndtering ved et hyttefelt i Øyer kommune. Entreprenør på prosjektet var Nermo Maskin AS.

In an ordinary village with less than 1,000 residents, a reservoir tank would normally be unnecessary, but Tuuri in Southern Ostrobothnia in Western Finland is not an ordinary village. The village tourist attraction draws visitors up to six million visitors annually. This needs special solution for potable water delivery.

Smart retention tanks for the Cognor rolling mill
One of the most significant industrial investments in recent years has been completed in Siemianowice Śląskie – the construction of a hot-rolled bar and profile rolling plant owned by Cognor Holding S.A. The retention tanks and sewage systems made of PE and PP were supplied by Uponor Infra.

PE tanks reduce carbon footprint at new water plant
Novafos' new water plant in Ballerup, Lautrupvang Water Plant, is currently under construction. PE tanks from Uponor, part of the George Fischer Group, have been chosen for the project. The tanks solve economic and building aesthetic challenges, reduce CO2 emissions by up to 50 % compared to traditional tank solutions and increase security of supply.

Vi leverte fordrøyningsmagasin med innebygget sandfang og virvelkammer til et boligprosjekt på Storo i Oslo. Én enkelt leveranse uten behov for mobilkran eller trafikkdirigering gjorde dette til en effektiv prosess.
