W Rzeszowie, na terenie osiedla Budziwój, gdzie znajduje się fragment terasy zalewowej rzeki Wisłok, we wrześniu 2018 r. rozpoczęła się budowa niemal 26 km kanalizacji deszczowej. Jednym z elementów tego systemu jest retencyjny kanał ściekowy. Realizacja projektu, którego finalizację przewidziano na maj 2020 r., spowoduje, że skończą się kłopoty z związane np. z podtopieniami w tym rejonie Polski.
Aby zapewnić bezawaryjność systemu wody surowej, zainstalowano (w warunkach szkód górniczych) rurociąg polietylenowy PEHD o długości około 9 km, z czego 3 km przy użyciu metody bezwykopowej – reliningu.
In Slagelse Municipality, there are requirements for the drainage of rainwater and wastewater to be separated, and therefore it was important that the wastewater solution on the street, Nordre Ringgade, was also updated in accordance with current legislation.
