En nem og pålidelig regnvandsløsning

Uponor IQ-infiltrationsrør blev, for første gang nogensinde i Finland, installeret på Volvos centrallagers laste- og parkeringsområde, hvor de sikrer en enkel, omkostningseffektiv og pålidelig regnvandsløsning. Regnvand fra et stort areal kan nu effektivt infiltreres og forsinkes, før det kanaliseres videre til et regnvandsbassin, der er bygget i udkanten af grunden.

Uponors rolle

Det nye laste- og parkeringsområde på Volvos centrallager i Vantaa skulle asfalteres, hvilket krævede en løsning til effektiv og pålidelig kanalisering af regnvand fra området. På dette område opsamles vand på ca. 8.300 m2 asfalt- og tagflader og ca. 1.000 m2 græsplæne. Uponors nye IQ-infiltrationsrør blev valgt som løsningen til at infiltrere og forsinke regnvand på grunden, før det kanaliseres videre til et regnvandsbassin i udkanten af grunden.

”Hvis disse rør ikke havde været tilgængelige på markedet, ville vi have været nødt til at sætte dem i produktion,” siger kunden, Tapio Kalliola, Vice President for EKE-Rakennus Oy.

Designeren af stedets regnvandsløsning, Matti Mäntysalo fra GeoUnion Oy, siger, at han først overvejede at bruge regnvandsledninger, der var slidsede før installationen. ”Så hørte jeg om de nye IQ-infiltrationsrør og kontaktede med det samme Uponor,” siger Mäntysalo. Uponors IQ-rør har ikke tidligere været brugt i Finland, men var allerede installeret adskillige steder i Sverige. ”Efter en drøftelse med Uponor var jeg overbevist om, at IQ-infiltrationsrør ville være den perfekte løsning til pladsen.”

Effektiv infiltration og forsinkelse

IQ-infiltrationsrør er lette, holdbare og nemme at installere. Takket være hullerne, der er slidset i rørene, infiltreres vandet støt gennem siderne og bunden. På grund af deres store kapacitet infiltreres og forsinkes regnvand effektivt.

Mäntysalo siger, at slidsning af tilsvarende rør onsite ville være mere udfordrende.

”Det kræver en hel del arbejde at forudbestemme, hvordan slidsehullerne i røret vil påvirke rørets bæreevne. Regnvandsløsninger er ofte påkrævet i parkerings- og trafikområder med konstant tung trafik. Dette er særlig udfordrende for designet.

”IQ-rørets bæreevne lå fast lige fra starten. Det er lettere at designe systemet, når vi ved, hvilken belastning rørene kan modstå, og hvor dybt et jordlag vi har brug for oven på rørene.

Mange faktorer skal tages i betragtning ved design af regnvandsløsninger. Hvad er arealet på tagenes overflade? Er arealets overflade dækket med asfalt eller græs? Fra hvor stort område skal regnvandet infiltreres eller kanaliseres videre? I hvilke jordforhold skal regnvandløsningen installeres?

”Jordforhold udgjorde også en udfordring på Volvos lastnings- og parkeringsområde, da den ene side af arealet ligger på grundfjeldet og den anden på blød jord,” siger Mäntysalo.

Let og nemt at installere

Firmaet Hyvinkään Tieluiska Oy håndterede installationen af IQ-infiltrationsrørene i Vantaa. I alt blev 50 m IQ-infiltrationsrør installeret på stedet.

Kimmo Nyman, projektleder hos Hyvinkään Tieluiska, roser rørene for deres lette vægt, hvilket gjorde dem nemme at installere. Arbejdet gik gnidningsfrit: en entreprenørmaskine løftede rørene én af gangen ned i udgravningen, som lå tæt på grundens midte.

”Det var også praktisk, at vi ikke behøvede at grave hele udgravningen på én gang, som tilfældet er med de fleste regnvandsløsninger. Der stilles ikke krav til geotekstil omkring rørene, og dette fremskynder og forenkler også arbejdet. Hyvinkään Tieluiska havde et tre-mandshold på pladsen. ”Vi kunne endda have klaret jobbet med kun to mænd. Vi brugte i alt to dage på installation, inklusiv udgravningsarbejdet, ”siger Nyman.

Regnvandshåndtering bliver stadig vigtigere

Både Kalliola fra EKE-Rakennus og Mäntysalo fra GeoUnion agter også i fremtiden at bruge IQ-rør, takket være den nemme installation. ”Rørene er nemme at installere. Hullerne, der er slidset i rørene, sikrer kontinuerlig filtrering og forsinkelse af vandet.

Mäntysalo siger, at på grund af klimaændringer skal man fokusere endnu mere på regnvandshåndtering i fremtiden. ”Kommunale inspektionsmyndigheder er allerede begyndt at stille krav til installation af regnvandsløsninger på parcelhusgrunde.”

Roihu 2016 – the 7th International Finnjamboree organised by Suomen Partiolaiset - Finlands Scouter ry, was held at the Evo campsite in Hämeenlinna on 20–28 July 2016. A camp for 17,100 people was built in a forest area owned by Metsähallitus. Some 3,000 participants arrived from abroad – from about 40 different countries. Uponor delivered 7,600 metres of pipes to the area. The pipes were used to supply clean water and to lead grey water away from the area in a controlled manner.
